Below are the default settings of the Linksys FGW3000:
 
  • IP address:  192.168.15.1 (located on the product label)
  • Default admin User Name and Password:  
    • For Linksys FGW3000-HK, the default username and password is admin.
    • For Linksys FGW3000-AH, the default username is admin and then check the product label for the password which is unique for every router.
  • Default WiFi name:  Linksysxxxxx for 2.4 GHz and Linksysxxxxx_5GHz for 5 GHz, where xxxxx is the last five characters of the serial number.
  • Default WiFi password is located on the product sticker labeled as Key.
  • WAN connection:  NAT Mode and Bridge Mode (with SIM card only, not via LAN port)
NOTE:  The default WAN connection type is NAT Mode.

Check the status of the LTE or 5G light.  If the lights are OFF, turn OFF the router and check if a SIM card is installed.

NOTE:  If the SIM card is installed properly but you are still experiencing issues, contact the vendor of the SIM card.

TROUBLESHOOTING


1.  How to reset the Linksys FGW3000 to factory defaults?

You can hold down the reset button located on the bottom of the router for about 10 seconds or reset it from the router’s web interface.  The blue bar will light up when the reset has been performed and turns OFF once the bootup process begins.  Wait until you see the POWER, 2.4GHz and 5GHz lights turn solid blue before setting up or accessing the router again.  To know more, click here.

2.  What should I do when the dashboard shows “No Service”?

Turn OFF the router and check if the SIM card is installed.  Either install a SIM card or remove it and insert the card again, then power ON the router, and check if the LTE light is solid blue.
    

3.  What should I do when the WPS isn’t working?

The WPS is only supported if you are using WPA2 Personal or WPA/WPA2 Personal Mixed Mode.   The WPA2 Personal option is the default setting. 

If you have changed the security type to any other type, you will need to enter the wireless password on the client in order to connect.


4.  Can I connect my router into an upstream connection such as another upstream router or network without a SIM card?

No.  In order to get an internet connection, you must use a 5G/LTE SIM card.  The LAN ports are to connect client devices such as computers, laptops, and etc.
