Configuring Access Restriction on the Linksys FGW3000

The Linksys FGW3000 5G WiFi 6 Router allows you to block internet access either by device, HTTP URL or HTTP Keyword.  To do this, choose an option and follow the steps below:

Block a device
Block by HTTP URL or HTTP Keyword

Block a device
 
Step 1:
Access the Linksys FGW3000 dashboard.  To know how, click
here.

Step 2:
On the left side of the dashboard, click Firewall > Access Restriction.

Step 3:
Click User-added image to restrict access to certain clients. 

Step 4:
Create a name for your filter on the field provided.

NOTE:  Make sure that the filter is enabled.

Step 5:
Choose the day/s and time you want to block the device.

Step 6:
Under Blocked Device, click on Deny Type and choose by MAC address, IP or IP range from the drop-down menu.

Step 7:
Click Insert and enter a MAC address, IP address or IP address range on the field provided.

Step 8:
Click Apply to save your settings.

Block by HTTP URL or HTTP Keyword

Click Insert and enter a HTTP URL address or HTTP Keyword on the field provided.

Click Apply to save your settings.
