Resetting and restoring the Linksys FGW3000

This article will show you how to reset your Linksys FGW3000 5G WiFi 6 Router to factory default settings.  There are two ways to reset your router.  Select from the options below to learn how:

Manual reset
Software reset


Manual reset
 
Step 1:
Make sure that your router is connected to a power source and is turned ON.

Step 2:
To reset the router to its factory defaults, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.

Step 3:
The blue bar on the Linksys FGW3000 will light up and then turn OFF once the bootup process begins.  Wait until you see the POWER, 2.4GHz and 5GHz lights turn solid blue before you set up or access the router again.

Software reset
    
Step 1:
Access the Linksys FGW3000 dashboard.  To know how, click here.

Step 2:
On the left side of the dashboard, click Management > Restore Default.

Click on Restore.

Step 4:
