Setting up the Linksys FGW3000 to Bridge Mode

This article will guide you on how to set up your Linksys FGW3000 5G WiFi 6 Router to Bridge Mode.  The Bridge Mode is IPPT (IP Pass-Through Mode) or IP pass through mode.  If you set the device to Bridge Mode, the WAN IP will be assigned to the client side.

Before you begin:
 
  • Make sure your computer is connected through an ethernet cable (or via WiFi) to the Linksys FGW3000.
  • You must first set up the Linksys FGW3000.  To learn how, click here.
 
Step 1:
Access the Linksys FGW3000 dashboard.  To know how, click
here.

Step 2:
On the left side of the dashboard, click Network > WAN Setting.

Step 3:
Click on the WAN Connection Type drop-down menu and select Bridge Mode.

Step 4:
Click Apply to save the settings.  

Step 5:
Once prompted, click Yes to reboot the router.

You should now have successfully set up your Linksys FGW3000 to Bridge Mode.
