Setting up the Linksys FGW3000 5G WiFi 6 Router

This article will guide you on how to set up the Linksys FGW3000 5G WiFi 6 Router. 

Before you begin:
  • Do not install or remove the SIM card when the router is operating or turned ON.  Make sure the router is powered OFF.
 
Step 1: 
Flip open the Nano SIM card slot located at the bottom of the router. 

Step 2: 
Insert the SIM card until it clicks.

NOTE:  Notice the edge of the SIM card and the position of the slot, the shiny side of the SIM card should be pointing down.

Step 3: 
Connect the power adapter to the router and plug the power adapter to the outlet.  Switch the power ON.

 
NOTE:  If the router is not powering ON, make sure the power switch located on the back of the router is set to the ON position.

Step 4: 
Wait until the 5G, LTE, WPS, 5GHz, 2.4GHz and POWER lights are solid blue.

Your router is now ready to use.  To connect wireless clients to the device, the network name (SSID) and password (Key) can be found on the label underneath the router.

QUICK TIP:  If you want to use a wired computer for configuration purposes, you can also connect a laptop or computer to any of the ethernet ports on the back of the router.
