Checking the Number of DHCP Clients the Linksys Router can Accommodate

Checking the number of DHCP clients that your router provides will allow you to determine the number of PCs that the router/DHCP server assigns IP addresses to. The default value for DHCP clients on a Linksys router is set to 50. The maximum possible number of DHCP users that can be assigned on a network is 253. Step 1:
Access the router’s web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
When the router’s web-based setup page appears, look for the value set on the Maximum Number of DHCP Users field.
