Overview of the Linksys FGW5500 dashboard

The dashboard of the Linksys FGW5500 provides a quick overview of the status of your network.

After you log in, you will be redirected to the Basic page.

By default, there is a 3-minute timeout session when you are inactive from using the router settings in the browser. To change this, go to Management > Device Settings > Timeout / Refresh Settings and change the Management Session Timeout (maximum is 10 minutes).

5G/4G/3GDepending on which connection your router is currently using, you will either see 5G, 4G, or 3G.

When you have this sf335215-007_en_v1.png icon, the 5G/4G/3G icon will not appear as there is no connection.

The Uplink/Downlink information can be found in the Basic tab.
sf335215-012_en_v1.pngThis icon will only appear if you have VoIP or VoLTE enabled.

sf335215-014_en_v1.pngThis icon represents how many clients are currently connected to your network.
sf335215-015_en_v1.pngThis icon is displayed when you receive an SMS message.
sf335215-016_en_v1.pngDepending on the language your router is set to, you can click on the language initials on the upper right-hand side to change it.

To change, click on the language indicator next to Wizard and choose your preferred language.

sf335215-018_en_v1.pngClick on Wizard to run the Setup Wizard again. This a quick and simple wizard to help you change the login password and WiFi credentials.
sf335215-019_en_v1.pngClick this to reconnect your internet connection. Your router will renew its internet IP address and you will temporarily lose connection until the router connects again.
