LAN Port For Linksys LAPAC1300CW only.

Behaviour
  • Bridged to WAN - Default setting.
  • Disabled - This option disables Ethernet 2 and 3
  • Behave as Wireless SSID - This option means when you connect a wired client to Ethernet 2 or 3, that ethernet client will be part of the VLAN setting of the SSID you selected in the Wireless SSID dropdown field.  For example:

NOTE:  To configure a VLAN ID for an SSID got to Wi-Fi SSIDs, click on Settings for an SSID, click on
Addressing, enable the VLAN tagging, enter your VLAN ID, and click Save.  It is recommended to
configure VLAN settings on your network to prevent a wired client from having access to all the
networks connected to the ethernet ports otherwise just disable the ports.

VLAN Tagging - Disabled by default.  Select Enabled and enter your VLAN ID, this VLAN ID
will apply to both Ethernet 2 and 3 when Bridged to WAN is selected.

PoE out - By default this option is disabled, meaning the Ethernet 2 port can be used as a regular LAN port without PoE capabilities.  However, if you want to connect a PoE client, you need to enable this option in the Linksys Cloud Manager in order to provide power to the PoE client.   The access point will need to be powered with an 802.3at PoE+ connection (on Ethernet 1 port located on the back) in order for this option to work.  Powering the access point with a standard 802.3af PoE connection or a 12V,1A power adapter will not provide sufficient power to enable this port.
