Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0 - How to delete an access point from a network

The Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0 for the Linksys Business Cloud Access Points allows you to remotely manage multiple access points, networks, and businesses anytime and anywhere.

Below are possible reasons to delete the access point:

 
  • You are no longer using the access point and will permanently remove it from your network.
  • You want to reset and re-install the access point.

This article will help you delete an access point in your network.

1. Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0.  For instructions, click here.

2. Select an organization.

3. From the Networks tab, select a network, click on the three-dot icon
, and then click on Devices.

4. From the Devices tab, select the access point that you want to delete, then click on the three-dot icon, and click on Delete.

5. Click Delete to proceed.

NOTE:  You can also check the box beside Move to inventory instead then click on the Move button if you choose to move the access point to inventory.  For more information on the Inventory page, click here.

You have now successfully deleted your access point.  If you want to add the access point back, click here for instructions.  Once you delete an access point, its settings will be reset to factory defaults.
