Mounting guide for Linksys Business Access Points

The Linksys Business Access Points have the latest in Wi-Fi technology to offer a powerful wireless network.  Through the use of these access points, employees can bring their own devices to work, and deploy access point easily with Power over Ethernet (PoE) supported.

IMPORTANT:  Improper or unsecure mounting could result to personal injury or damage to the device.  Linksys is not responsible for damages caused by improper mounting.

Wall Installation
 
Step 1:
Identify your desired location and position the drilling layout template.
 
Step 2:
On the mounting surface, drill four holes for the screws to go in. 
 
NOTE:  If your ethernet cable will go behind the wall, mark the ethernet cable hole on the mounting surface using the template as well.

 
Step 3:
Secure the mounting bracket on the wall with anchors and screws.
 
NOTE:  If the ethernet cable should go behind the wall, cut or drill a hole on the marked surface for the ethernet cable and feed the cable through the hole.

 
Step 4:
Connect the ethernet cable and/or the AC power adapter to your access point.
 
Step 5:
Slide the access point into the bracket.  Turn it clockwise until it locks into place.

 
Ceiling Installation
 
Step 1:
Select the ceiling tile for mounting and remove that particular tile.
 
Step 2:
Position the drilling layout template at the desired location.
 
Step 3:
Drill four holes for the screws to go in.  Using the same layout template, drill a hole for the ethernet cable to go in.
 
Step 4:
Place back plate on the opposite side of ceiling tile.  Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling tile with the flathead screw and nut.  Route the ethernet cable through the ethernet cable hole.

 
Step 5:
Put the tile back to the ceiling.

Step 6:
Connect the ethernet cable and/or AC power adapter to you access point.
 
Step 7:
Slide the device into the bracket.  Turn access point clockwise until it locks.
