To configure the settings,
log in to the Linksys app, tap on the menu icon, and select Wi-Fi Settings.

Wi-Fi Name and Wi-Fi PasswordDisplays your wireless network name and wireless password. Tap the field to change it. You will lose WiFi momentarily until the changes have been saved.
Advanced Wi-Fi Settings
The following settings can be configured under Advanced Wi-Fi Settings. Note that settings will vary by model.

Security Type

For Linksys routers that support Wi-Fi 7® and Wi-Fi 6e, Multiple Selection is the only option. If you need to change the security type for troubleshooting purposes, log in to your router using a desktop browser.

For all other models, you have the option to change the security type to the following:
  • WPA3™/WPA2™ Mixed Personal
  • WPA3 Personal Only
  • WPA2 Personal (Default)
  • Open and Enhanced Open
  • Open
Wi-Fi Mode

Mixed mode is the only supported mode for Linksys Mesh systems. However, options may vary depending on your router's model.

Channel Finder

Channel Finder will
scan your environment for WiFi channels that will give you the best performance. All devices will be disconnected temporarily during the scan.

If the node supports
Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), you can enable or disable DFS channels. The default value will vary by model.
Connect a Device with WPS
Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) allows you to easily connect WPS-supported devices to your WiFi without manually configuring security settings.
