Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much, much faster than my previous set up Well, I broke down and purchased this $1K system. Is it faster than my previous set up? Oh yes by far. Is it future proof? To an extend, most definitely. Was it worth it? To me, yes. I am extremely pleased with the speeds and the upgrade. I had absolutely no issues with setting up the main node as a router and the other two as child nodes. I think what made it easy was keeping the name of my network. All my devices connected flawlessly. I had to make a few ip changes, but that was all too easy. If you're on a tight budget, this may be out of reach, but I broke down my cc payments to $250 each payday. 2 months and I'm done paying for it. Are there other systems out there cheaper and can cover the same area, I'm sure there is but I've had great success with Linksys, their products, and their tech support so it was a no brainer for me to purchase their latest product. I hope this review with provide you with some much needed information to make the move to drop some $$$ on this system. Again, for me, it was well worth it and I'm extremely pleased with this VELOP Pro 7 system.

I just bought the Velop 6E system (MX6203) a few months ago. If I buy 2 WiFi 7 nodes and set one as the primary, will the other node get WiFi 7 speeds or will all the nodes connect over WiFi 6E? I’d like to get the fastest speeds from my home office…

Asked by: MarkinSF
Hello MarkinSF. The MX6200 nodes can only maximize the Wi-Fi 6E connection. If you have further inquiries feel free to email us at LinksysCares@linksys.com.

For wired connections to each child nodes, can the child nodes be powered by POE (Power Over Erhernet) or is an electrical outlet required? Also is there mounting kit available for mounting child node to:the ceiling?

Asked by: Michellino
Hi, Michellino. The Linksys MBE7003 must be directly connected to a power outlet for it to function. Additionally, we currently do not have a mounting kit available for our Linksys cognitive devices.
