Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value whole home mesh wi-fi 6 system. I got the Atlas 3 pack MX2003 about a month ago now. The coverage and speed is top notch. Setting up took about 20 or 30 minutes. The app is a little lack luster but for $299 for a 3 pack whole home mesh wi-fi system I still have to give it 5 stars. The app for Android really does need an update. I need to restart the system about once a week for it to recognize the system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Router at an affordable price. The router was easy to setup and is a solid network. We have three nodes and enjoy great performance anywhere in our home and outdoors. I’d recommend the MX2002 to anyone looking for a new or replacement wireless router.

Should I use MX2001-Dual Band as a Parent Node and use my existing Velop Triband WHW03 (3 NODES) as children? I want to expand my network because of the poor signal in the basement due to the walls.

Asked by: AL8179
Hi. You can definitely set the Linksys MX2001 as the parent node to take advantage of its features, and add you existing Velop system as the child nodes. Also, make sure that the nodes are placed in an elevated area free from possible wireless obstructions.

My DISH Network technician replaced my router/modem from my ISP with a Atlas 6 2 pak. He stated I no longer need my rental modem from my ISP but it seems my internet went from 1 gig to 100mps. Do I need a modem to use this system?

Asked by: Subdoc
Hi, Subdoc. Our Linksys routers along with the Linksys MX2002 need to be connected to an upstream device or a modem/router (gateway) with an active internet connection for it to work. You may refer to this link as your reference and select the Installation option found on the page: https://www.linksys.com/support-product?sku=MX2002. However, we would like to check on this further. Please reach out to us at LinksysCares@linksys.com so we can assist better.
