Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died around 40 days Bought this 3 pack and nodes started randomly dropping. So in addition to the initial cost I had to pay shipping charges to get a replacement. Not to mention the tech support who had me do the same procedures over and over for over an hour. Then told me the rma person doesn't come in until after 9pm so I'll have to speak with them again. I really am disappointed but I can't afford another 400 plus dollars for another set.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works as a basic AP setup and Lack of info in app I bought this system about a year ago. I moved from another brand to this one and did not see a major improvement in signal at a far. It was good but not great. The system started giving me problems when I used it as my main ISP router configuring pppoe on it. The primary node just crashed so I used one of the other nodes and was able to configure it but every other day I needed restart the system. I factory reset the system more then 5 times and it keeps happening. Also the app I less then a help channels on my 3 nodes where always different when they should be on the same channel. Also you can even see who is you biggest bandwidth user on the devices on you network a simple think. I went back the the previous brand as I was satisfied with them but with a newer model. Also for the price I got a way better signal and bandwidth.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from so so for the stability of the nodes between This is the second mesh system I got from Linksys. I got this bundle and used for 3 months. some findings and comments for the system. Pros: 1. Easy Management Interface for basic settings. 2. Clear interface to see all device connection status and control. 3. Overall stable for the wifi connection with reasonable network performance for gaming / streaming. Cons: 1. Paint Defects on one of the nodes in another words of poor product quality control. 2. 1 / 2 nodes may drops connection sometimes around 1 / 2 times every weeks (blinking red light). especially when using WPA2. change node location or do optimization still cannot resolve the problem. 3. 1 / 2 nodes may not responding even the status appeared to be normal (Blue light) signal strength show Excellent once a month. devices under the affected node(s) can obtain IP, DNS but no internet connection. other node don't have this issue. this usually happened when using WPA2.WPA3 need to be used for the whole network. affected nodes need to be restarted when this happened. 4. not much advanced options or settings when using Linksys Apps. 5. laggy control in Web GUI and being restricted by most of the browsers by default security settings (Certificate Invalid). 6. stupid sensing for nearest nodes when connecting devices to wifi. sometimes device used cross floor node. however, not really affecting overall internet experience due to 584Mbps still enough for daily use. 7. Child Nodes cannot be managed directly from GUI / apps. 8. Wrong status for device connect being shown for sometime. such as wired / wifi / online / offline

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a disappointment What happened to Linksys?! I’m a long time customer, since the gen 1 Velop… finally had to replace my failing unit and was bounced around from specialist to specialist. Finally place my order, “free 2 day shipping for my inconvenience” still took a week to deliver. From there, setup was a disaster. Daily reboots, 3 hours a day the first week spent on the phone with “support”. Promised senior techs would contact me… nothing. Email after email asking for my feedback… well here you go. This sad example of customer appreciation and extreme lack of dedication to resolve an issue led to you forever losing a loyal customer. Everything Linksys has been removed and replaced. Thanks for nothing Linksys. You are fired.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good but doesn't work The router can not be configured locally. It needs access to linksys sites to do anything. So sometimes, it doesn't work and there is nothing you can do about except post the serialnumber to the excel sheet of the customer service agent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Going from Apple to Linksys I have owned this system (3 nodes) for a couple of weeks and can honestly say it is just as good if not better than Apple routers (I had 1 TC and 2 extremes) in creating a great mesh. But there are definitely downsides. For example, all nodes had a cat-6 backhaul and even wifi-5 Apple seemed just a bit quicker in response. up and down speeds are better with this product, though. The BIGGEST downside is that as of today, I cannot get the GUEST network to have internet access. It is there. I can connect to it. But it doesn't have internet. Apple routers did. I cannot explain this phenomenon. Neither can Linksys support, other than saying "there is a firmware update coming". After Thanksgiving, I have had to share my network password with my ENTIRE family, guests, their BF/GF...Frustrating to say the least. And I have 60 devices connected. Not interested in changing the password in EVERY SINGLE ONE, to protect my network. So buyer beware. You might be better off with a tri-band/wireless backhaul.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommended! Setting-up my wireless home network was easy and I get full coverage throughout my house, including my front and back yards. The network handles multiple devices without ever slowing down. I work from home so I needed a reliable system and so far its been a great experience. Highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Atlas Pro 6 is great The setup took about 5-7 minutes. Everything was automatically configured using the mobile app. However the mobile application itself is a bit slow, and I would like more optimization. It's really like iPhone routers. The signal is very strong and stable. I have a large house with thick brick walls and the signal is stable even on the street near the house. I didn't even expect this from such a small router. One unit is enough for my whole house. I am satisfied.

Due to some of my smarthome bulbs/plugs using only 2.4, I want to create three SSIDs (one for 2.4, 5, and 6). Does this setup degrade my two Max 8500 that form my mesh network or should I only use one SSID for all three bands

Asked by: JAM1514
Hi, JAM1514. Separating the SSIDs (Wi-Fi names) could trigger the Mesh feature or could affect the router's mesh capability and overall performance.

Can I have the output of my modem to "The Linksys LAPAC1300C AC1300 WiFi 5 MU-MIMO Cloud Managed Wireless Access Point" and have my "MX5503 - Dual-Band AX5400 Mesh WiFi 6 Router" to feed from Access Point WiFi to repeat the signal?

Asked by: ManiNouri
Hi, ManiNouri. The LAPAC1300C is a business access point. You'll still need to connect a router to your modem to have a DHCP server in place.

None of my 2.4G devices are finding the network. They were all working on my dual band Airport Express. The wemo light controller is several years old but the Winx air filter and Arlo cameras are a year or less old. Is there a setting I have wrong?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi! You may need to confirm with the device manufacturers if their devices work fine and will connect with a mesh network. Otherwise, you’d have to split the 2.4GHz and 5GHz which will disable the mesh feature.
