Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware! Setup definately not 1-2-3... Recently purchased the Velop Pro 6E (MX6203&MX6201) Mesh System. I have now wasted in excess of 8hrs of time attempting to get everything working as it should. I feel this is a not well devoloped system. Initial setup was fine, then out of the blue the 4th Node went 'red'. A couple hrs with support brought no resolution as of yet. Awaiting more Tier 2 answers. While waitinf for Tier 2 answers, I decided to reboot the entire system and start from scratch. All 4 Nodes worked as expected....for about 8 hrs. One of the node decided to randomly go 'red' again. I repeated the entire reboot again, 'successfully'. Then spent time naming and setting up a whitelist MAC filter. Everything continued to work...for a couple hours...you guessed it, one node 'RED'!! I have now reset everything a third time without adding MAC security...if anything goes 'red' at this point, I'm going to box it up, and return....countless hours wasted!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome mesh system This mesh system works incredibly well. We replaced our mesh system that was provided by our internet service and this totally out performed that. I don’t have any dead zones in my tri split level house . Very reliable and good system here

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient Since my daughter frequently uses the computer to complete her homework, my husband occasionally works from home, and my two youngest children simultaneously watch television, I bought them to test whether the stability of the internet in my home would increase. It is crucial that the internet does not go down, and it appears that they have greatly assisted in preventing the interruptions that previously occurred. In my opinion, after a month of use, they have been very effective.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice I like my Linksys Velop Pro 6E Tri-Band Mesh System. To hook it up you first have to download the Linksys app and then you set up an account and go from there. It took me a little while to finally figure out how to get it set up because I’m not very good with the tech stuff. Lol My signal has improved in the upstairs of my house and on the outside of my house. It also makes it easier to stream movies as the kids play their video games without anyone lagging. I also love that they don’t take up a lot of space in the house. I like that it comes with a parental control. I would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent upgrade to my network I got this mesh system to improve the signal around the house for all our devices and to get some in the garage and patio as well. Setup was easy and very intuitive. I am not much of a techie, but this was easy enough for me to figure out and install. All my devices have a better range now and I no longer lose connection when I’m doing zoom/skype in a room that always dropped my connection. Works so much better than the router provided by my internet provider that was dropping signals frequently. I work from home and have an office upstairs and downstairs & these devices helped me so much. All in all an excellent mesh system that has extended the range reliably with good internet speed. No more dead spots. Worth the value & highly recommend this mesh system if you are in the market for one. You won't be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Setup & Works Great First off, the router/access points look cool. Very modern look with the buttons hidden and not annoying flashing lights. They were easy to set up using the quick start guide in tandem with the Linksys app. Allows you to set up your network, name your points, and helps you identify the best areas to place them in your house for ideal wifi signal. Anyone could figure this out and improve the wifi capabilities of their house as long as they had a solid connection coming into the home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The device is really great and works flawlessly This device is much smoother compared to intelligent mesh and it works perfectly with 1 GB internet speed connection

how do i get service from my house to a metal building?

Asked by: patrick 1
Hello, Patrick 1! One effective method to enhance the range and signal strength of your local network is by adding a child node. Additionally, you might want to consider connecting the nodes wired to each other, which can help boost both the range and speed of your mesh system while minimizing WiFi interference.

Are all bands available if wired back haul is used?

Asked by: Tinker2
Hi, Tinker2. All radio bands of the MX6203 remain available for wireless communication if the nodes are wired connected. The wired backhaul reduces wireless interference and extends coverage without limiting radio bands, ensuring a strong connection between devices.
