How to manually configure the APN Settings of the Linksys 5G Mobile Hotspot

While the Linksys 5G Mobile Hotspot primarily operates in 5G NSA mode, some internet service providers (ISPs) may require you to manually enter your Access Point Name (APN) settings to establish a connection. To learn how to do this, follow the instructions below.

Before you begin:

  • Make sure to take note of the following from the Quick Start Guide or the product label:
  • The last three digits of your hotspot’s serial number.
  • The Key or login password.
  • Ensure you have the correct local APN settings by contacting your ISP if needed.

Directions:

1. Insert the sim card into the Linksys 5G Mobile Hotspot.

2. Once done, connect it to your computer.

3. Launch a web browser and access the Engineer Mode web interface by typing "192.168.1.1:50xxx" (replace "xxx" with the last three digits of your serial number) in the Address bar and then hitting [ENTER].

4. Enter the Key and then hit Log In.

5. On the Dashboard, go to Network > Mobile Settings > APN Settings and select Edit.

6. Enter your ISP's APN Settings in the fields below. Tap Save to apply changes.

You have now manually configured the APN Settings of the Linksys 5G Mobile Hotspot.
