Methods of using WPS

Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) is a standard published by the Wi-Fi® Alliance with the aim of simplifying the configuration process to establish a secure WiFi home network.

If you have client devices such as WiFi adapters that support the WPS feature, you can use this to automatically configure WiFi security.

This article will guide you on how to connect a Wireless-N adapter to your network using WPS. There are three different ways to use WPS. Select the method that applies to the client device you are using.

WPS configures one client device at a time. Repeat the instructions for each client device.
