How to enable Static Routing on a Linksys E9450

Static Routing is an advanced feature on Linksys routers that allows you to take control of the routing capability of the router. This is not suitable for normal internet usage since the router will not be able to automatically route addresses of websites.

Before you start, make sure that your Linksys E9450 WiFi 6 Router is already set up and working. To learn how to set up the Linksys E9450 as a parent node, click

NOTE: This article is for Linksys E9450-AH, E9450-CN, E9450-JP, and E9450-KR.

Follow the instructions below on how to configure Static Routing on the Linksys E9450.  
 

Step 1:
Access the router's web-based setup page.
 
Step 2:
On the Dashboard, click on Advanced Setup.

Step 3:
Click on Routing and select Static Route.

Step 4:
Under Routing -- Static Route, click on Add to add a new entry.

NOTE: Only up to 32 entries can be configured.
  
Step 5:
Enter the correct values according to the network information of your devices. Click on Apply/Save to save the changes made.
