The Linksys LAPAC1300CW AC1300 Cloud Managed In-Wall AP TAA Compliant is designed for rooms and is built to fit within a single gang outlet mounted into a wall.  The Linksys LAPAC1300CW offers WiFi and two additional ethernet ports for connectivity.  One of the ports provides PoE+ connection to power a PoE device such as a VoIP phone while the other Gigabit port is intended to connect an ethernet device requiring gigabit speeds.  To learn more about this product, click here.

  • One Reset pinhole located at the back panel.  Press and hold this button for 20 seconds to reset to factory default settings.  The indicator light will flash red once it has been reset.
  • A Power port found at the bottom.  This is an optional port to supply power using an AC power adapter (not included in packaging).  However, you will need a 12V, 1A power adapter with a barrel jack length of 9.5 mm, outer diameter of 5.5 mm, and inner diameter of 2.1 mm.

This is an 802.3af/at PoE In port.  Power ON the access point using this port.

This is an 802.3af PoE Out port.  This is a Gigabit port which you can use to connect a PoE client device.  You can also connect a non-PoE wired device through this port.

NOTE:  Ethernet 1 must be powered ON by an 802.3at PoE+ connection in order for the Ethernet 2 port to provide output power to a PoE device.  You must also enable the PoE option through your Linksys Cloud Manager account.  For instructions, click

This is a non-PoE Gigabit port which you can use to connect an ethernet client device.
