How do I reset the Linksys E2500 to factory defaults?There are two ways in resetting the Linksys E2500 to factory defaults:
 
Press and hold the Reset button at the bottom of your router for 10 seconds then release.
Log in to the router’s web interface then go to Administration > Factory Defaults > Restore Factory Defaults. 
Where are the indicator lights, Reset button, and Wi-Fi Protected Setupâ„¢ (WPS) button located?

The Reset button is located at the bottom of the router. The indicator lights and the Wi-Fi Protected Setupâ„¢ (WPS) button are at the back of the router.

How many USB ports does the Linksys E2500 v3 have?The Linksys E2500 v3 has one USB 2.0 port.

What are the default IP address, username, and password of the Linksys E2500?

The default IP address of the Linksys E2500 is 192.168.1.1. The default password is admin and there is no username.

What is the default WiFi name (SSID) of Linksys E2500?
The default WiFi name of Linksys E2500 is Linksysxxxxx (where xxxxx is the last five digits of the serial number of the router). You have to upgrade your firmware to have Linksysxxxx as the default WiFi name.
What WiFi security modes do the Linksys E2500 support?It supports Wi-Fi Protected Access® WPA™ / WPA2™ Mixed mode, WPA2 / WPA Personal, WPA2 / WPA Enterprise, Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), and RADIUS.

What is MAC address Clone? A Media Access Control (MAC) address is a unique identifier pre-assigned to the network adapter of the computer. This is used by most Cable ISPs for authentication so subscribers can establish an internet connection.
 
Therefore, to set up your Linksys router to work with your ISP, you have to enable the MAC address Clone feature. This will allow your ISP to recognize the router as the computer with the registered MAC address.

Which dynamic routing protocol is supported on Linksys E2500?It is compatible with RIP/RIPv2 dynamic routing protocol and 20 static routings at most.
Can the IP address number assigned by the DHCP server be more than 253?No. The default number is 50.
Does the Linksys E2500 support wireless Quality of Service (QoS) and Internet Access Priority QoS?Yes.
Does Linksys E2500 allow VPN tunnels using IPSec, L2TP, or PPTP protocols to pass through the router? Yes.
Does Linksys E2500 support Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall?Yes.
