Backup and Restore feature in your Linksys cloud account

The Backup and Restore feature of your Linksys cloud account allows you to save your current router configuration settings and to retrieve a previously backed-up configuration.

Why is performing a backup and restore process important?

In cases when you need to reset the router to factory default settings, you will be able to restore your previous configuration using the backup configuration file after resetting. This will save you time by not going through the process of reconfiguring the router manually.

These options are only available if you are locally connected to your home router.

To backup and restore the router configurations, follow the instructions below:

1. Launch a web browser and access your Linksys cloud account. To learn how, click here.
