The default IP address for this router is 192.168.1.1 and admin is the default password.

3.  What is the default Wi-Fi name and password of the Linksys EA7500 v3?

The default Wi-Fi name and password is located on the label on the bottom of the router.  The label will display the default 2.4GHz Wi-Fi name, for example, Linksysxxxxx (where xxxxx is the last five digits of the router's serial number).

NOTE:  If two Wi-Fi names will broadcast (For example, Linksys00061 and Linksys00061_5GHz), you may select either but if your device can see the 5GHz radio, select this.  The same Wi-Fi password applies for both.

TROUBLESHOOTING 
 

1.  How can I reset the Linksys EA7500 v3 to factory defaults?

There are two ways to reset the Linksys EA7500 v3 to factory defaults:
  • Hardware Reset – Press and hold the Reset button on the back panel of the Linksys EA7500 v3 for about 10 seconds until the white light on top of the router begins to flash.
  • Software Reset – Log in to your Linksys server account.  Under Router Settings, click Troubleshooting > Diagnostics then click Reset under Factory reset.

2.  I have reset the Linksys EA7500 v3 and now I can’t launch the setup page.  What should I do?

You can try the following troubleshooting suggestions:
  • Access your Linksys server account locally.  To know how, click here.
  • If your computer has a static IP address, make sure it has valid DNS numbers.  If not, set the computer to obtain an IP address automatically.
QUICK TIP:  Try again then, if needed, reassign a static IP address back on the computer.

3.  Does this support IPv6 RD for its internet connection?
