Setting up the Linksys Business Wireless-N & Wireless-AC Access Points

The Linksys Business Wireless-N and Wireless-AC Access Points have Wi-Fi® technology that offers a powerful WiFi network. Through the use of Linksys Business Wireless-N and Wireless-AC Access Points, employees can bring their own devices to work, and deploy access points easily with Power over Ethernet (PoE) supported.
 
Before you begin: 
 

This article assumes that you already have a working WiFi network setup with your router or network switch.

The default IP address of an unconfigured access point is 192.168.1.252. But if the access point is connected to a router, check the IP address to use in order to log into the access point's web interface. The assigned IP Address is found in the router's DHCP client’s table.

1. Connect your access point to your router using an ethernet cable.

2. Launch a browser, enter the IP address assigned to the access point in the Address bar, and hit [ENTER].

3. On the authentication window that will appear, enter “admin” in both the Username and Password fields then click Log in. In the example below, LAPN600 is used.

4. The web interface of your access point will then appear. Click on the Quick Start tab.

5. Click the Picture3.png button.

6. Follow the on-screen instructions on the setup wizard until you get to the screen that informs you that the setup has been successful. Click Finish.
