How to delete an access point from the Linksys Cloud Manager

The Linksys Cloud Manager feature of your Linksys Business Cloud Access Points allows you to remotely manage multiple access points, networks, and businesses anytime and anywhere.  Follow the steps below if you want to delete an access point in your network through the Linksys Cloud Manager.

Before you begin:
This article is only for access points being managed by (Cloud Manager 1.0) https://business.linksys.com/.  Visit the online documentation to learn more about the Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0.
  
Below are possible reasons to delete the access point:
  • You are no longer using the access point and are permanently removing it from your networks.
  • If at any time you disabled or re-enabled the Linksys Cloud Manager through the local interface, the access point will show Offline.  You will need to delete the access point from the Cloud and add the access point again.  
 
Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager.  For instructions, click here.

 
Step 2:
From the list of Networks, click on your network name.

IMPORTANT:  Before making changes, make sure you have selected the correct network.  The top-left section should display the network name.

Step 3:
Click the Access Points tab.

QUICK TIP:  You can also click the ellipsis icon User-added image of your network and select Access Points.
 
Step 4:
Click on the ellipsis icon then click Delete.

QUICK TIP:  You can also click the ellipsis User-added image icon of your access point and select Delete.
 
Step 5:
Click Delete to proceed.

You have now successfully deleted your access point.  If you want to add the access point back, click here for instructions.
