Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0 - Local interface for Linksys Business Cloud Access Point support

The Linksys Business Cloud Access Points offer a powerful wireless network for your small offices, home, or create free hotspots operated by your internet service provider (ISP).

For the Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0, managing an access point is done via the cloud.  However, for troubleshooting purposes, the access point has a simple local interface to address any connectivity issue or to view the current information.

Before you begin:

This article is for access points being managed by https://cloudmanager.linksys.com and with firmware 3.4.x or later.  To fully manage your access point, you will need to login to Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0.  Click here to login.

Determining the local IP address of the access point

Access point in factory defaults (if the access point has not detected a DHCP server)

  • Wireless - Connect a wireless client to the default SSID of the access point and use either 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.252.
  • Wired - Hardwire a client to the access point, assign a temporary IP address of 192.168.1.x to the client, and access the access point via 192.168.1.252.

Access Point has detected a DHCP in the network

Either look up the IP address in the Linksys Cloud Manager (Devices> select the access point> click TCP/IP) or look it up in your router’s DHCP client's table.

NOTE:  By default, local web access is enabled.
