Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does both jobs really really well I have install one of these at work and one at home. The ceiling mounting is both practical and ethically pleasing. The one at work has solved many problems we had with a mainly metal building and is providing good solid signal to our repair work shop and Apple repair work shop. It's also popular in the canteen for lunch time gaming!! The one at home is a God sent ........... We have virtually switched from cable, aerial and satellite feed to internet feed for all our entertainment. Since this was put in we have had no problems feeding all our individual need. Might appear a little 'over the top' for domestic use but well worth the extra cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A silent, steadfast Yeoman who just does its work. Easy set up and good performance. No troubles in the three months it has been installed in an indoor but unconditioned space. During this period we have had several 100+ degree days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Install and Passed the WAF test Got three units for the home, after looking at many others types. CISCO is always a winner. Ran the cable and used the provided mounting template. Mounted each with not mistakes on the sheetrock, so easy. Used push pins to keep the template on the sheetrock. The unit hid the cable, when mounted. Linked with the AE6900 router and LGS124P Switch. Using the built in Firmware is easy and can see what is attached to the AP. Love the LED color change from green to blue, showing a connection in process. Works very well with the Linksys Smart WI-FI software. Gave my WIFI Extenders to a friend. This is how a home should be linked on one SSID. No more guessing or maybes. Now my home has very good access and more " no connection or it not working, worse yet The Look". Happiness and pace has returned to the home. The Wife Acceptance Factor is all smiles, and I am a hero again for 30 min. Wish I would have done this the first time. Stop your pain and get this. Linksys Team: We also need an AP Icon for this Linksys Team for using the Linksys Smart WI-FI software. Also a install video for the users to use before install and setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great AP This AP allows me to configure my wireless network with ease, I like the fact I can give everyone their own SSID and control when they can and cannot access the network.

*Maximum performance derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specification. Actual performance can vary, including lower wireless network capacity, data throughput rate, range and coverage. Performance depends on many factors, conditions and variables, including distance from the access point, volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, operating system used, mix of wireless products used, interference and other adverse conditions.
**May require a software/firmware update available for download at linksys.com/support. APs are clustered with the same model number; e.g., a LAPN300 cannot be clustered with a LAPN600.
