Rated 1 out of 5 by from dissapointed I bought this Linksys EA6200 AC900 Dual-Band Smart Wi-Fi Wireless Router ,on recommendation from a salesman at my local radio Shack ,it set up OK ,then exactly 31 days later it totally failed ,i returned it to to Radio Shack where i was informed they only replaced stuff up to 30 days .So i was left to deal with Linksys .After 3 days of calling customer service ,and dealing with several rude reps. i got an rma # and returned it .Got the new one ,and it fired right up ,but it has a range of about 40 feet ,and when you hook a usb hard drive to it ,it hangs up and has to be restarted ,now it hangs almost daily . So ,i will never buy another Linksys anything .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Linksys EA6200 installed flawlessly in my home net I recently replaced an older Linksys router with the new AC level EA6200 900 MBPS after hooking up to a 30 MBPS cable ISP. Had been using 3 MBPS wireless service. Very easy install, with great tool set. I added a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem when the cable ISP was installed. Everything works great together, and HD video streaming (1080i) wireless to an Apple TV and Whole house Direct TV is super good. I would highly recommend the Linksys EA6200. It is providing wireless to an iMac late 2009 desktop, Brother MFC-9560CDW color laser printer, Apple TV, two iPhone5's, two Mac Books, an iPad, and internet connection to TV with Direct TV video on demand, NetFlix, etc. Hope this helps others make router decision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great router and very easy to set up This router (AC 900) showed up the other day and I hooked it up and had it configured via the Linksys Smart Wi-fi app on my android in less then 10 minutes. The coverage of the wifi at my house is stronger then the other routers I've tried out and it seems faster and more stable. I've always been a fan of linksys but when they switched to cisco at home I was jumping ship. I'm glad to see "Linksys" again and this router is a solid router, I'm sticking with this one as it works and fully configurable and supportable via the android app. I love that I can administer my router from anywhere free with the linksys service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy setup, horrible range I bought this router to replace my old one and I must say that setup is really easy. The problem is that signal doesn't reach the second floor of my house. I've went to linksys forums and tried everything experts recommended with no avail. Changed channels from 1 to 11, channel width, tried putting the router on elevated place, nothing worked. I paid $165 for this router and now I have to spend $50 - $70 more on a range extender, access point or power line solution. I'm very VERY dissapointed, I expected much more from a Linksys product, specially one that advertises to have "Ultimate Range" on the box. I don't think I'm going to buy a Linksys product ever again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great for the price I bought this several months ago when my old d-link router broke and i needed a new one. This router is able to handle 2 Gaming PCs and a Wii U. However its wireless strength is terrible, i can be standing right next to it and the wireless device i'm using could only have 2 bars or less. All in all this device is amazing for those that have it connected to the device directly, but not so great for wireless uses. I might transfer this router to my business which will not use wireless connectivity and get a new product for home. The new router will most likely be linksys however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great features, great price this wi-fi router is doing well . anytime something works as it should it's a good day! The last one i had was a single band and it lasted an extended period of time and gave me good svc. but finally bit the dust. Linksys gave me such a good deal on this dual-band router that a discount tv and electronics store had the same model for more than twice the amount .I purchased this from the Linksys website and my next one will also be from Linksys. I suspect though it may be quite a while , but they will certainly have a repeat customer in me !!! thank you Linksys . Lauris--ohio

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful Wireless Router Wow! This device is too smart for itself. It is very powerful (signal). It over powers my other Linksys router and my cable router. It will not let you add a device to your existing (private) network UNLESS you trick it. Simply attempting a manual assignment will not work because the router will recognize the network is already in use and will generate a new (private) network (during it's next reboot or outage). It works wonderfully when you have it setup. I think you would see the best use of its capability if all your device were AC capable; mine are a mix (B/G/N).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for a state of the art router I bought a refurbished AC900 in anticipation of changing to TWC and buying my own cable modem. The web setup was something new to me so I went with direct setup which I am more familiar with. All went well. I am using both 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi radios and they work well. Setting up WAN access through my cable modem was also straightforward. I like the Gig-E WAN port as well as the Gig-E switch ports. I updated my home network to Gig-E switches as well so now everything is working very fast. Great value and performance from this refurb unit!

*Maximum performance derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual performance can vary, including lower wireless network capacity, data throughput rate, range and coverage. Performance depends on many factors, conditions and variables, including distance from the access point, volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, operating system used, mix of wireless products used, interference and other adverse conditions.
