The Xbox One® is the newest home video game console by Microsoft®.  It is their third console and it is the successor to the Xbox 360®.  This article will guide you on how to set up a static IP on your Xbox One.

Step 1:
From the Home Menu, select Settings.

Step 2:
Select Network > Advanced settings > IP settings > Manual.

Step 3:
Type in the chosen IP address then select Enter.

Step 4:
Type in the Subnet mask. Select Enter.

Step 5:
Type in your Gateway.  Select Enter.

NOTE:  Your Gateway is the router's internal IP address.

Step 6:
Go back to Advanced settings then select Save.

Step 7:
After saving the changes, go back to Network settings then select Test network connection.  Wait until the test finishes checking your network connection status.  An “It’s all good” message will appear when it’s finished.

You have now successfully setup your Xbox One with a static IP.
