Unable to connect Roku® to the wireless network

RokuĀ® allows you to stream and watch videos through the Internet.Ā  This article will guide you on what to do when you are unable to connect your Roku device to the wireless network.
Ā

Step 1:
Check your routerā€™s wireless settings before connecting your Roku device to the Internet.Ā  To learn more about this, click here.Ā  Selecting the wrong wireless network is one probable cause of wireless connection failure.Ā  Also, check if you entered the correct wireless password.Ā  If youā€™re not sure, you may try re-entering it.Ā  Remember that this password is case sensitive.

Step 2:
Make sure that your router is working properly.Ā  Use your computer, laptop or any other device to connect to the router and then try accessing the Internet.Ā  If you are able to connect to the Internet on another device, you may proceed to the next step.

Step 3:
If you are still failing to connect to your wireless network even if you finished Step 1 and Step 2, you are most likely having problems with the strength of your wireless signal.Ā  You can try moving your Roku device closer to your router.

Step 4:
If that still doesnā€™t work, you may try to restart the Roku device and your router.Ā  To restart the Roku device, go to Settings > System > Power > System Restart.Ā  You can also unplug the Roku from the power source then plug it back in.

The Roku device will automatically reconnect to your router if you have previously connected to your router.Ā  If you havenā€™t connected to your router previously or if you are setting up your Roku device for the first time, complete the network setup process.
