  • WPA3 Personal Only:  This is not recommended unless all child nodes have WPA3 capability and are up to date with the latest firmware.  Older devices will not be able to connect to networks using WPA3 encryption.
  • WPA2 Personal:  This is recommended for home use.  You will need a password to connect to the WiFi.  This uses AES encryption.
  • Enhanced Open only:  This is recommended for public use.  Supported devices may access an encrypted connection without a password.  Unsupported clients will not be able to connect.
  • Open and Enhanced Open:  This is recommended for public use.  Supported devices may access an encrypted connection without a password.  Unsupported clients can connect to an unencrypted (open) network.
