Light behavior of the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E, MR7500

The Linksys Hydra Pro 6E, MR7500 has two front panel indicator lights and lights on the back panel that indicate the activity and connectivity of your devices to the router.

NOTE:  Power/Status, WPS, and USB lights will not be affected by the Activity Lights setting for the router.

Power/Status Light

 
DescriptionStatus
Blue (blinking)Starting up.  Wait for the router to finish starting up.
PurpleReady for setup.  Open the Linksys app to complete the setup.
Purple (blinking)Setup in progress.  Follow the instructions in the app.
BlueConnected to the internet.  The router is online.  Everything is good.
RedNo internet from the modem.  Not online, check with your internet service provider (ISP) for service interruptions.
Red (blinking)Disconnected.  Make sure the router is firmly connected to the modem.



















 


WPS Light 

Press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) button on the side of the router to pair your device.

OFFNo WPS activity.
White (blinking)WPS pairing is in progress (blinks for up to 2 minutes).
Orange (blinking)WPS error (blinks for 1 minute).
White (solid)WPS pairing is successful (goes OFF after 5 seconds).

OFF - No physical link on the LAN port.
Green (solid) - Physical link is up on the LAN port.
Yellow (blinking) - Data is transmitting through the LAN port.
USB port (one light):

Blue
OFF - No USB connection/USB drive unmounted.
Solid - The USB is connected/mounted.
Blinking - The USB is actively reading/writing.
