Manually updating the firmware of the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Modem Router, XAC1900

Benefits of keeping the firmware updated

Updating the firmware of your router enables you to fully enjoy the complete features of your Linksys router.  It is especially important to update the firmware when installing your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Modem Router, XAC1900 for the first time to prevent a notification from prompting when you access some of the router and network settings.
