Overview of the Status feature on the Linksys FGW5500

The Status feature on the Linksys FGW5500 allows you to view the status of your device and network. You can also view the connected clients, block, or unblock them, and view the details about your device.

Device Status

On this page, you can view a summary of your Linksys FGW5500. Click on the Refresh button to scan the latest status.

To change the WiFi credentials, go to WiFi.
To change the Time Zone settings, go to
Device Settings.

Modem Status

Displays the status of your modem.

Basic
  • Network: The possible state of the network mode is 5G(SA, NSA), 5G(NSA), 5G(SA), 4G, or 3G.
  • Connection Status: If CPE is anchored to the base station successfully, the status will be Registered. Otherwise, the status will show No Service.

Network Status

Displays the status of your network. To change the settings, go to
Network. Click on the Refresh button to scan the latest status.

The Voice and Extension features will display only if the Voice feature is enabled.

Telephony Status

This section will only appear if you have enabled the Voice feature. It will display the status of your Telephony.

If the status shows Unregistered, check your Voice settings.

Client List

On this page, you will see clients that are currently connected to your network.

To block a client on your network, click Block. Once you blocked a client, that client will move to the Blacklist section. Click Unblock, to unblock the client.

About

In the About section, you can view the current firmware version of your router and other information about your router.
