The port lights of a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router can now be managed under the Setup tab of its web-based setup page. Follow the steps below if you want to see the port lights lighting up or if you want them disabled.
IMPORTANT: Before you proceed with configuring the port lights of your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router, make sure that your cables are properly connected.
Step 1:
Go to the router’s web-based setup page. For instructions on how to do this, click here. If you’re using a Mac computer, click here.
Step 2:
Under the Setup tab, scroll down and locate Port Lights.
Step 3:
Select On if you want to enable the router’s ports lights, or click Off to disable.
Step 4:
Click to apply the changes.
The port lights of your router should now be enabled or disabled.
NOTE: If you are using a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router, you can configure the port lights using your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account. Just click the Connectivity Tool and select ON to enable the router’s port lights or click OFF to disable it.
